How Does Scrap Metal Pickup & Removal Service Work?

Are you looking to dispose of your non-ferrous scrap metal and unsure where to turn? Look no further. Our “Weigh & Pay” pickup service was made to simplify the scrap metal disposal process. Broken down into the below three steps, we work with you to turn your metal into money.

How It Works

Step One: Schedule A Pickup

Customers interested in this pickup service must contact one of our helpful “weigh and pay” managers by calling (617) 389-7213. You can schedule an appointment for a day and time frame that works for you.

Step Two: Pickup & Weigh

Our commercial box trucks were strategically built to include scales in the back. This enables us to easily come to your location, weigh material, grade and help sort if needed.

Step Three: Payment

How much payment you receive will depend on how heavy the non-ferrous scrap metal weighs. Materials are priced by the ton, and we will even match our current yard prices. You can choose payment in the form of cash or check.

What Scrap Metals Can Be Picked Up?

Non-Ferrous

Items that fall within this category can include:

  • Electric Motors
  • Batteries
  • Magnesium
  • Condensers
  • Catalytic Converters
  • Computer Boards
  • Alternators
  • Starters
  • A/C Compressors
  • Transformers
  • Ballasts
  • Power Supplies
  • Hard Drives
  • Computer Towers
  • Refinery
  • Plug Ends

We do not do pickups for ferrous scrap metals like iron and steel; however, we have a commercial roll-off service that caters to these types of metal. Learn more about our Roll-Off Service or contact us at (617) 389-7213.

Do Customers Need to Be Present for Pickup?

Typically, because non-ferrous materials are valuable ($4/lb.), most individuals do not leave them unattended and prefer to be there for the pickup process. Customers will schedule an appointment, and we will give them a 3-hour window in which they can expect us to arrive. We will call them to let them know when we are in the area to ensure a quick, easy pickup process

When and Where Is This Service Offered?

The weigh and pay service is offered any season, year-round. Due to the increased demand for convenient scrap metal pickup, we are proud to be expanding our fleet with new trucks and drivers to service customers in Massachusetts and beyond!
